We turned up with a large line, effectively 2 lines of guys and a steadfast female contingent of Hannah and Camilla. Opening the game we took a 3:1 lead with some slick endzone play and effectively breaking ARUs man defense. After trading for a couple of points ARU switched to an arrowhead zone, which while initially proving ineffective tightened up to make the yard gaining passes very tough, try as we might to swing, then look upfield there were inevitably some mistakes which the opposition capitalised on. ARU took half 7-6. Coming back after half we evened the score before time went; subsequently some frustatingly completed open-side passes let ARU take their 8th and 9th points.

Some positives to take from this were some really good endzone play and good movement throughout but with just some more experience needed against ARUs zone. Well played all.
