Match report:
A great turnout for the promotion match, with enough for more than 2 full lines. Long hill had only 6 players, but their zone and around breaks quickly gave them a 3-1 lead. Once our handlers started swinging the disc across the pitch and we tidied up our defence we managed to level things up and pushed on to take half at 7-5. After half, Long hill scored twice to bring it back to 7-7, with time going during that point. This meant it was universe point to determine who’d play in div 1 for next term. A Kaustuv interception and a Luke score won the final point. A great game everyone (except Callum’s injury – hope you get better soon), really well done.
