MVP: Alfie Wright

Match report:
We had a good turnout for the match. Kaustuv turned up despite saying he couldn’t make it on the spreadsheet (“trying to be a hero”). There was enough wind to make upwind and downwind points. We won the first point downwind, but found the upwind going more difficult. We played vert on O and man D. Our play was a bit rusty at first, but we grew into the match, picking up the intensity on D and on O. We started using the deep cuts on the downwind points to great effect as the match progressed. Highlights included Alfie’s under to deep cut for a score off Kaustuv’s throw.
